Job Request Terms
1. Introduction
1.1 These Job Request Terms ("Terms") apply when a Homeowner submits a job request or contacts an Engineer through PlumbGo.live ("the Website") or the PlumbGo platform ("the Platform").
1.2 The Website and Platform are operated by PlumbGo Ltd (the Company), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17094157, with its registered office at 7 Moor Lane, Cleadon, Sunderland, England, SR6 7TN. After this first reference, PlumbGo Ltd is referred to as "the Company".
1.3 By submitting a job request or contacting an Engineer, you agree to these Terms.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "Homeowner" means any consumer submitting a job request or contacting an Engineer.
- "Engineer" means any self-employed tradesperson using the Platform.
- "User" means any individual accessing the Website or Platform.
- "Real-time availability" means the availability indicators displayed on the Platform, updated by Engineers, and provided for general informational purposes only.
- "Job Request" means any enquiry, message, or request for works submitted by a Homeowner.
3. Nature of the Platform
3.1 The Platform enables Homeowners to view Engineers and contact them directly.
3.2 The Company does not:
- provide plumbing, heating, or related services;
- employ or engage Engineers;
- guarantee the suitability, qualifications, or availability of any Engineer;
- set or control pricing;
- enter into any contract on your behalf.
3.3 Any agreement for works, pricing, attendance, or service delivery is strictly between the Homeowner and the Engineer.
4. Submitting a Job Request
4.1 When submitting a Job Request, you must provide accurate and complete information.
4.2 The Company does not review, edit, or verify Job Requests.
4.3 Engineers may choose whether or not to respond to your request.
4.4 The Company does not guarantee that any Engineer will respond, accept, or attend.
5. Real-Time Availability
5.1 Real-time availability displayed on the Platform is provided for general informational purposes only.
5.2 It does not guarantee that any Engineer is:
- available;
- able to respond;
- willing to accept a job;
- able to attend at any particular time.
5.3 Availability indicators are updated by Engineers and may not always reflect their actual status.
5.4 You must confirm availability directly with the Engineer.
6. Direct Contract Between Homeowner and Engineer
6.1 When you engage an Engineer, you enter into a direct contract with them.
6.2 The Company is not a party to that contract.
6.3 All matters relating to:
- pricing;
- attendance;
- workmanship;
- materials;
- guarantees;
- cancellations;
- refunds;
- disputes;
are strictly between you and the Engineer.
7. Pricing and Payments
7.1 The Company does not set, control, or influence pricing.
7.2 Any price quoted or agreed is solely between you and the Engineer.
7.3 The Company is not responsible for payments, refunds, or financial arrangements.
8. Your Responsibilities
8.1 You agree to:
- provide accurate job information;
- communicate respectfully and lawfully;
- ensure safe access to your property;
- verify the identity, qualifications, and insurance of any Engineer you engage.
8.2 You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for selecting an Engineer.
9. Engineer Responsibilities
9.1 Engineers are responsible for:
- their own qualifications and insurance;
- the accuracy of their profile and availability;
- the quality and safety of their work;
- their conduct and communication.
9.2 The Company does not verify or guarantee any Engineer's credentials.
10. Cancellations
10.1 Any cancellation policy is determined between you and the Engineer.
10.2 The Company does not impose or enforce cancellation terms.
11. Complaints and Disputes
11.1 Any dispute relating to works, pricing, conduct, or service quality must be resolved directly between you and the Engineer.
11.2 The Company does not mediate or intervene in disputes between Users.
12. Liability
12.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company accepts no liability for:
- the acts, omissions, or conduct of any Engineer;
- any loss, damage, or injury arising from works carried out by an Engineer;
- delays, cancellations, or failures by an Engineer;
- any agreement or dispute between you and an Engineer;
- any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.
12.2 The Company is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of information provided by Engineers.
13. Changes to These Terms
13.1 The Company may update these Terms from time to time.
13.2 The latest version will be published on the Website.
14. Governing Law
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
